Tokyo Mew Mew character minto aizawa

Tokyo Mew Mew character Minto Aizawa bio

Minto's demeanor is generally mild-mannered and composed, seldom prone to outbursts of anger. While she contributes to the team effort, her involvement is limited. Nonetheless, she remains passionate about her love for ballet and dance. Although there are still traces of bossiness in her personality, it's only directed towards Ichigo. She displays more patience now than before and has become increasingly introverted and "tsundere" in nature, attempting to be more open and socialize with her fellow Mew Mews.

Appearance

Minto's appearance has undergone some changes since her civilian days. She no longer wears her hair in buns and instead lets it flow freely. In school, she wears a light blue dress with puffed sleeves, a sleeveless blue vest, and blue tights with strapped shoes. Her everyday outfit consists of a blue pleated skirt, a frilled shirt, and knee-high socks paired with loafers. She also carries a purse and wears a red fabric tie with a green gem.

As a waitress at Cafe Mew Mew, Minto wears a blue uniform that is similar to the other waitresses' outfits.

When transforming into Mew Mint, her hair changes from navy blue to indigo blue, and she wears a short aquamarine dress with blue garters and dark blue lacing on her arms and left leg. She wears a choker with her Mew pendant hanging from it, blue gloves, and ankle boots. She has a dark blue feathered tail and wings, and her Mew Mark is a pair of bird wings on her back.

In her updated Mew form, Minto's outfit has received some upgrades and now features a different color palette. Her Mew Pendant has been replaced with a blue ribbon with a blue heart gem, and her blue garter now has a ribbon attached. Her gloves now have a white band with a small blue heart gem, and she wears an inner pair of gloves and a pair of socks. Her boots now have tied white ribbons, and her hair has grown slightly longer with a pair of buns.

Personality

Ichigo is a civilian with vivid red hair tied in pigtails with red ribbons who regularly wears her school uniform. Masaya also handed her a red ribbon with a bell to wrap around her neck. She normally wears a yellow top and red shorts when she isn't wearing her school uniform.

At Cafe Mew Mew, Ichigo wears a red gown with a heart-shaped apron, pink and white ribbons, pink stockings, and black shoes. Her hair is tied back with a lace headband and worn down rather than in pigtails.

Plot

Minto's Childhood

As a child, Minto would often showcase her dancing skills to her older brother. However, one day, her brother was enrolled in a prestigious school, and they grew apart, rarely speaking to each other afterward. Despite this, Minto had a generally happy childhood, and her parents were often around before they became consumed with work.

From a young age, Minto had a passion for ballet and was a dedicated student. She participated in numerous recitals and shows, and her hard work paid off as she quickly progressed from a beginner to a prima ballerina.

Tokyo Mew Mew

Despite her tough exterior, Minto actually harbors a fear of getting hurt, which causes her to briefly quit the Mew Project. However, she soon overcomes her fear and returns to the team.

Minto lives in a grand mansion with her brother, parents (who are frequently away on business), and a nanny who takes care of her. She also has a beloved pet dog named Mickey, who unwittingly transforms into a Chimera Anima and triggers Minto's initial transformation into a Mew Mew.

Zakuro Fujiwara is Minto's role model, and she deeply admires her. Initially saddened when Zakuro refuses to join the Mew Project, Minto is overjoyed when Zakuro eventually becomes a part of the team.

Abilities

Civilian: Minto is a gifted dancer with impressive flexibility and endurance. Despite her delicate appearance, she also possesses hand-to-hand combat skills and is a proficient swimmer. She seems to have some archery abilities, as evidenced by her use of the MinTone Arrow.

Mew Mew: Minto is the only member of the Mew Mews who can fly and communicate with birds.

Transformation: Minto's transformation reflects her passion for ballet. She begins by kissing her Mew pendant and gracefully arching her back while her DNA transforms. She then executes an arabesque pose, twirls, and leaps into the air, leaving behind a trail of blue feathers. During a series of intricate ballerina twirls and moves, her Mew uniform materializes on her body, and her wings and tail feathers emerge from her back. The transformation concludes with her Mew pendant bursting out of a flurry of bright blue feathers and Minto striking a final pose.

Weapons and Attacks: Minto's weapon is the MinTone Arrow, and her attack is the Ribbon Mint Echo. She creates a bow and arrow out of a burst of feathers, charges up a shockwave, and unleashes it as a pink energy blade.

In the manga, Minto acquires the Mew Aqua Rod, which is pink, and her attack is Mew Aqua Drops.
